How the calculation works
A separator is sized for two things: the flow from the catchment and the largest spill it may have to hold. This calculator checks the spill. Enter the biggest volume that could escape at once, such as a tanker compartment or the largest tank on site.
Aquator separators hold 1,500L to 9,000L of spilled oil as standard, and higher spill capacities are possible. The cost side uses only the clean-up, penalty and closure figures you enter.
