Mullaly (Mullaly Engineering) is a brand of Tank Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 59 142 807 949), which manufactures water, fuel and chemical storage tanks in Australia under three brands: Mullaly, Tank Solutions and GRP Tank Solutions. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” means Tank Solutions Pty Ltd across all three brands and their websites, including this one. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can access or correct it or make a complaint.
What personal information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business. This may include:
- contact details: your name, company, job title, email address, phone number and postal or site address
- enquiry and project details you send us, such as pump station or tank requirements, site location and delivery information
- installer accreditation details: your name, company, contact details and exam answers and results, when you sit an FRP, Glasteel® II or Aquator accreditation exam
- newsletter, webinar and brochure or datasheet download registrations
- records of our dealings with you, including quotes, orders, invoices and correspondence
- website usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and how you arrived at our site
We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health information). Please do not send it to us.
How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you:
- fill in a form on our websites (on this site: the enquiry form, the brochure and datasheet download form and the newsletter sign-up, all run by HubSpot)
- email, phone or meet us, or deal with us as a customer, supplier or installer
- attend events and trade shows where we exhibit
We may also receive your details from your employer, our distributors and installers, or publicly available sources, where it is reasonable to do so.
This website uses cookies and similar technologies. These include Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, HubSpot tracking, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, the Meta (Facebook) pixel and Microsoft Clarity. Microsoft Clarity records how visitors scroll, click and move through our pages so we can see where the site is hard to use. It masks what you type into forms. They help us understand how the site is used, measure our advertising and show our ads to people who have visited our websites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Why we collect it
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and prepare quotes
- supply, deliver, install and support our products, including warranty matters
- run our installer accreditation program and keep records of accredited installers
- send the brochures, datasheets, technical documents and webinar access you request
- send newsletters and product updates, where you have agreed or would reasonably expect them
- manage accounts, invoicing and our relationships with customers and suppliers
- improve our websites, products and services, and measure our marketing
- meet our legal obligations
Direct marketing
We may send you marketing emails about our products and services, including after you download a brochure or datasheet or sign up for our newsletter. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also opt out at any time by contacting us using the details below.
Advertising and audience matching
We use cookies and pixels from Google, LinkedIn and Meta to measure our advertising and to show our ads to people who have visited our websites. We may also give these platforms a hashed (scrambled) version of the email address or phone number you have given us, so they can show you our ads, or leave you out of them, if you have an account with them. The platforms compare the hashed details with their own users, do not receive them in readable form, and delete details that don’t match. They may store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not use sensitive information for advertising.
You can opt out at any time by unsubscribing from our emails or contacting us using the details below, and we will remove you from our advertising audiences. You can also manage ad preferences in your Google, LinkedIn and Meta account settings.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it to:
- our Mullaly, Tank Solutions and GRP Tank Solutions brands, where relevant to your enquiry
- distributors, accredited installers, freight and logistics providers involved in supplying your pump station or tank
- service providers who help us run the business, such as our website hosts (WP Engine and Cloudflare for this site), email and file storage (Microsoft 365), CRM, forms and email (HubSpot), email and newsletter providers (Mailchimp, Postmark), workflow tools (Zapier), and analytics and advertising providers (Google, LinkedIn, Meta and Microsoft), including hashed contact details for audience matching as described above
- professional advisers, insurers and government bodies where required or authorised by law
Overseas disclosure
Our websites are hosted and served through providers, including WP Engine and Cloudflare, that may process information in Australia and overseas. Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. When we use overseas providers, we take reasonable steps to make sure they handle personal information consistently with the APPs.
How we store and protect it
We hold personal information in electronic systems (including cloud services) and in paper records. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. These steps include access controls, security software and secure hosting. We delete or de-identify personal information when we no longer need it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing.
Complaints
If you think we have breached the APPs, please contact us in writing using the details below. We will acknowledge your complaint, look into it and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
