How the comparison works

The calculator adds the supply price, the one-off installation cost and the upkeep of the wet well for each station, year by year.

Installation rows start from Mullaly's installation cost comparison for a typical sewage pump station. A precast concrete station needs its sections placed and sealed, more shoring and crane time, and the mechanical fit-out done in a confined space. A one-piece fibreglass station goes in with less time in the hole.

Upkeep covers washing, recoating and repairing a concrete wet well. The smooth fibreglass wall stays cleaner for longer and needs no internal coating. Change the rates, days and cycle to match your own experience.
