Challenge
The site is next to a creek, with both water and rock to deal with. The new station went in beside the old concrete station it was replacing. Installation time had to be as short as possible, and ground disturbance had to be minimal.
What we supplied
An RPEQ certified 3.75m dia x 9.03m deep wet well and a separate 1.8m x 2.2m x 1.75m valve pit.
Why fibreglass
Townsville City Council and NQ Excavations knew from past experience that a Mullaly FRP pump station and valve pit could be installed in a short time with little ground disturbance.
